Thursday we woke up to 4 inches of snow. By 11 AM the sky was clear, the sun out and it was blazingly bright.

I used the tractor to clear the drives. At my neighbors I have to hand shovel a handicap ramp. The sun was bright and it was a balmy 24 degrees. I put on gloves and left my coat in the tractor.

As I bent over shovelling a brilliant glint reflected from my chest??!! I looked down and my Cross Medalist II was in my shirt pocket. It is chrome and shone in the bright day.

It made me chuckle. Surely I am the only person shoveling snow in NH in a dress shirt with a fountain pen in my pocket. I felt like Eddie Albert from "Green Acres" when he farmed in his business suit Smile
