Glad to hear James!

How is that thumbnotch in the design working out? Was a bit skeptical on the initial concept but think it came out ok.

Joe!!!
it came out well, mein herr!

I'm very proud to own this razor Biggrin

As a matter of fact, I got one of the best straight razor shaves EVER last night with the Bamboosori.
I understand that experience with a straight eventually pays off, but it was more than that.

balance, length of blade and ease of use of non-folding razors.  I was able to move around my face quite easily - for me.

I'm telling you, the thumb notch worked out great as well as the natural segment on the top of the spine,   and so did the two-tone acid wash-  all amazing!

A lovely pair of razors for sure. Thank goodness we have some modern smiths that may rival any down through the ages. As I get older and shakier, easy to maneuver and light in weight. the Kamisori is in use a lot more often than before.
Enjoy your prizes they are the stuff of dreams!
