Hi all,

I changed the server's IP last night, so some people might have trouble accessing the site until the change is fully propagated throughout DNS.  This is typically fully propagated within a day.

After that change is done propagating, I need to make a 2nd DNS change so our content is pushed out through a CDN.  This also might lead to some spotty site access while those changes take effect.

Any idea why TSN would be the target of a DDOS attack?

Pure random. The China Firewall issue just assigns a random IP. The site was not targetted.

Thanks so much. I actually had to get some work done in the office today, instead of checking the site when I had a few spare minutes.

We wound up doing much the same on the Primo forum Andrew. Most ISPs from the orient are now blocked.

When we were still manually OK'ing folks, one night I OK'ed one "gent" and immediately got maybe 2 dozen others cascading in who weren't OK'ed. Needless to say I was busy for awhile.

Thanks for the effort!

Kinda scary that something like that can take out millions of devices and servers as an "accident".  I know sometimes certain sites are targeted (e.g. Sony's PSN on Christmas day) for various reasons, but I'm surprised Cisco, etc. hasn't developed a defense against it.
