Hello all, I am brand spanking new to wet shaving. I have yet to actually shave, but I created my starter kit, and it is arriving tomorrow. I am the type that loves to learn as much as i can about things. I think the whole shaving scene will fit me perfectly. I am entranced by the vintage shave stuff and cant wait to start collecting.

My starter kit:

Razor: Edwin Jagger DE89Lbl (also purchased a 1954 super speed from ebay)
Brush: Omega Pro 48
Blades: 35 assorted, 7 brands 5 blades ea.
Soap: Proraso Eucalyptus & Menthol
Misc: Gentlemn Jon Alum Block, Clubmen styptic pencil.

Feel free to let me know of anything I have missed.

Edit: Or critique my choices.

Brian

Welcome to The Shave Nook, Brian!

Everything looks fine in your set-up, good luck and you may want to get a good natural balm or, even better, some Unrefined Shea Butter!  Thumbup

Welcome from a fellow Michigander.
Your kit looks like a great start. Use it for at least a month before changing anything to hone your skills.
