Then the author comments below saying it saves you $100-$400. Obviously he is referring to badger but still.

How much could honestly be saved on a boar brush? The gas spent on a trip to the store along with materials could have been put towards a quality brush. In my opinion a shaving brush should never be overlooked in terms of investment. The article did make me smile though I admire the creativity and effort.
