Decided to post a few pics of the den.

Long story short is having 2 ladies in the house (wife & daughter) it was decided by my wife I was to be banned to the basement bathroom for space purposes. Was my plan all along, just happened faster than I had planned. I had to use it while working on it so took a little more time and is still a work in progress. We were actually using the bathroom as storage while I added a family room in the basement. The cabinet was left by previous owner and was unfinished on the inside. First pic is before. I thought it was perfect, just needed some TLC. Just installed the razor racks today! Smile

I used test tube racks as the holders. The metal strips are re-purposed off the old medicine cabinet I replaced and the numbered magnets are how many times the blade has been used. I think it gives it a nice retro look!

Looks awesome!  The only flaw I can see is that the cabinet has too much empty space in it.  I imagine you'll work on that next.

I will be banished to the basement bathroom too at some point, I think.  Unfortunately, It needs a lot of work (plumbing, drywall, etc.). Sad

Thanks Brian. Dont worry on the empty space. I have a number of new soaps & splashes, including some Silk Pajamas Wink on the way as well as some BST goodies. I also have backups of some of whats in the den in a box to save space for other stuff.

If you lived a little closer I would come over and help you out. Get that man caver err...bathroom up and running!

That is one handsome shave cave!  I have three bathrooms in the house, but have to share the master with the wife.  Fortunately it is a double sink vanity so I do get to have a few of my items on the counter.

Thanks Mike!

@Dave: No sharing the master bath in my house. Only one sink. I actually have more room in the downstairs bathroom. More counter space and everything. I am also near the water heater so instant hot water. No letting it run for a sec. Big win for me all around! Biggrin

See now, getting Silk Pajamas may actually cause you space problems, as it really deserves its own shelf. :-)

Seriously, thanks for the order. Let me know what you think.

Cheap and easy to do. Got a pack of the magnets for under $2 at Lowes and used a silver Sharpie marker!

Living the dream. I'd like a dedicated shaving room one day.
