It is a great razor.  Enjoy.  The large head is cumbersome at first but I am used to it.  Remember, no additional pressure on the head.

You have the "Baby Smooth" already? Unless you were part of a testing team, it wasn't released until yesterday.

Got mine today. The head is a  dead ringer for a Merkur 45 bakelite.

i got one. but one of the corners of the top plate is tweaked upwards and sharp on the very tip of the corner. feels almost like a bur of metal there in the very corner. since these are no exchange im not sure if ill sand it down there or not as it will ruin the black anodize which sucks. the blade does tweak up slightly in that corner also. most people say theirs are perfect though so i just had bad luck on this one. all my other proto razors and products from joe were flawless so i was hoping this would be also. one other person over there put pics of theirs which also had a messed up corner.

Got mine today and the shave was very impressive. I was blown away when I got the V1 RRSS and what it felt like. I have many of the RR slants but still have not mastered how to use them and be consistently happy with the result.

This was way easier to use than any of the RRSS, alum or stainless. This was efficient and mild/moderate in bite. I loaded it with a fresh Rapira Plat/Lux and went against the grain first pass with 2 days growth. I didn't get any nicks and found the angle easily. I also enjoy the fact that the blade rinses much easier than the slant head.

I think that my dad will enjoy this one and so I will let him use this to see how he like it.
