I got some Tiki Bar Surfs Up soap recently and while I love the performance it is so lightly scented it just smells like unscented tallow soap base. I am rather disappointed with it in its current state but since it works great and is fairly soft I thought maybe I could knead some essential oil into it to give it some scent. Anyone tried this, will it work? Don't know if the essential oil will combine with the soap or just make a mess. Let me know if anyone has done this and maybe an estimated dosage for a approx. 4 oz puck.

Contacted Amanda and to feedback was to not attempt to mash soap and essential oil together. Adding a drop or 2 of your desired fragrance to the bloom water or to the lather was the recommendation if you wanted to adjust the scent of your soap.

Sounds excellent to me. Tiki is one of those artisans that make it a shaving renaissance

I have the same soap and the scent is fairly strong. Tiki is a great soap, hope you can add a scent you like.
