Ah Catie's Bubbles, my favorite artisan soap. Let's direct all future comments here gents. What's your favorite scent? I'm really liking one that doesn't come up much lately, Pomander.

Never tried it. I'd like to, at some point, but I have so much freaking soap it'll be years before I can buy one. I'd put something up for trade, but so far, I haven't found one that I dislike. :-)

I have
Jardin D'Or
Gardenia de l' Etalon
Purple Grapefruit
Le vert orange
Le piment de la vie x2
Quatre cent vingt x2, with matching aftershave
Knee high to a grape
Glace herbe
Rosée du matin
La terre verte

my favourites are Rosee du matin
and
le vert orange

I am allergic (burning sensations, rashes)to the ingredients of

Le piment de la vie
Quatre cent vingt
Le vert orange
La terre verte

Performance is very good, particularly the ability to use little product with a lot of water

My favorite soap of any that are offered today. I like the slickness , cushion , and scent variety they offer. Another thing that is particularly nice they offer is a constant stock of at least some or most of there scents at all times. I am currently enjoying the quatre cent vingt scent and wish I had picked up the matching a/s when I ordered.

I really enjoy the performance and scents. Performance is unmatched IMHO, slick, cushiony, and extremely easy to lather. On top of that, Chris is a very approachable guy who constantly answers questions and inquiries.

Tonsorial Parlour is my favourite (sic).
Love CB. Not only a great product, but Chris is an amiable and customer-oriented artisan. Congratulations on producing one the best shave soaps on the market.

I suggest trying this out. The scent was HIGHly enjoyable (it smelt like pot).

I have most of them but my favorites are the usual suspects LTV and LPV.

Under my testing with a Plisson synthetic I found that this soap will last about 133 shaves coming in at about $0.15 a shave. I only have Rose du Mechant. The scent is very well done and it smells like a real rose not chemicals. Performance, it is about the best coconut oil soap I've used and I include MdC. It is still not as good in performance as MWF--my favorite soap. Regardless, it is still very good. The one thing I could change about it is its softness. it is the softest soap I have used by far, even compared to other "croaps." I laughed off that term when using soaps such as Cella or 3p because I found it was inaccurate. Soft but undeniably a soap. Now with CB, it is very nearly a cream. I did not like how it picked up too much product when loading and did not like the sensation. I left it to cure for 2 months and it hardened slightly and it lost nearly 20g of water weight and I found it more satisfying to load. Moisturization-- it is ok for summer. Not as drying as MDC but I wouldn't use it for harsh northern winters.

Now, that is a lovely photo of a contingency plan! You are almost as well-prepared as I, with my collection of my favourite soap.  Biggrin

I recently acquired Mile High Menthol. Very reminiscent of the old formula SMN. Catie's Bubbles MHM is a superior soap!

Got a sample of LPV and a full tub of Boucles Fruite so far. Both are great scents, but the BF just makes me smile every time I crack the lid. I've given out samples to a couple of friends and they can't believe how close it smells to freshly opened Fruit Loops. Good stuff...
