Let's have a thrad where we post the creams and soaps we own, that has a scent that reminds us of a well known fragrance.

Razorock XXX - Acqua Di Parma Colonia
Razorock Tight buns - Creed Aventus
Truefitt & Hill 1805 - L'Eau D'Issey by Issey Miaki
Plisson - Dior Eau Sauvage

T&H 1805 doesn't smell all that much like L'Eau D'Issey, in my opinion; only in the generic sense that they are both "aquatic scents."

HOWEVER, there is a cheap drugstore cologne called Antonio Banderas's BLUE SEDUCTION that smells almost EXACTLY like 1805.  If I were blindfolded, I'm not sure I could tell them apart.  Literally.

Just found out Razorock Tight Buns should smell like Creed Green Irish Tweet and The Freedberg should smell like Creed Aventus.
I have owned more than 4 and still own 1 full bottles of Creed GIT and own a full bottle of Aventus, and I think I might have got a Freedberg in my pot of Tight Buns, by mistake (no pun intended) :-)

Also TF&H 1805 to be honest gives me a vibe both Acqua di Gio & L'eau D'issey. I just feel the strong presence of Yuzu in the start of 1805 makes me think of L'eau D'issey like no other cream/soap I have tried

I know that B&M Fougere Aromatique is based on MDCI Invasion Barbare which I was reminded of as I am wearing that today.

Great thread idea. Only one off the top of my head is CB La Rose Du Mechant. It's a dead ringer for Chloe by Chloe EDP. My fiance's old favorite that I hate. Luckily I've gotten her into frags and she no longer uses Chloe.

I should mention she does use this shaving soap. Great soap/scent to get a wife/female interested in traditional shaving soap. Not a lot of scents out there that would appeal to women.

I just got the soap today but immediately I found the Saponificio Varesino Felce Aromatica to be an aquatic rendition of Creed's Green Irish Treed. Very similar profile. But like I said, more aquatic to me and no grassy scent, whereas I do not get any aquatic from GIT but I do get a touch of grass.
Time will tell. Anyone else get this similarity?

I don't agree with that one at all.  JMO, everyone's noses are different, etc.

My wife bought me a bottle of 1805 as an early birthday present, afterwards we went to the drug store and I bought a small bottle of the Blue Seduction and you are right, they are exactly alike. Wish we had know earlier we could have saved a LOT of money Smile.

Glad I read this before I pulled the trigger on the Creed GIT and Aventus, I had got some samples and love the scent but its MUCH more expensive than the RR. Here goes another trip to Phil Smile.

LPV smells like Royal Oud or maybe Spicebomb.
Razorocktober 2014 reminds me of something by Xerjoff, but I can't quite put my finger on it.
CRSW Fougere Moderne smells like Floris 89.
