I found these two after scouring this town for the third time. They are the only razors other than over priced straights I have seen. A very clean cased 1912 and a very grungy MMOC.

Check the inside of the 1912. It might be a Damaskeene.

It's not a Damaskene. I have one of those, and it is a great little shaver.

Congratulations on your score! Your Gem set features one of the "low profile" 1912's and was called the Triumph, circa 1925. It's not a Damaskeene, but it has the curved top plate like the Damaskeene and will have similar shaving characteristics.

The MMOC actually has potential. Since the plating is pretty much all gone and it is solid brass underneath, you can take some metal polish such as Maas or even Brasso and wail away with impunity. With a little effort it will shine up quite nicely.

Very nice find. I have a similar 1912 and learned something today from spidey9, it's a Triumph. Great shaver btw.

On another forum I suspected it to be a '25 set (the set and case being the Triumph), but wasn't 100% positive. If it shaves like a '24 it's a keeper. My bet is that it will. Really good razor IMO.

I still have dibs on it if you decide you don't like it. :-)
