This is a link to instagram and Joe's new prototype razor named The Hawk which I believe is a 3 piece razor similar to the Mongoose. Possibly released toward the end of the year.

This new mirrored polished prototype razor is flying with me to Italy #RAZOROCK #wetshaving #SE #Italy

Based on his comments on price, this will be a SE I will be able to justify spending money on.

Looks nice I just hate the light weight of razorock razors that I've tried maybe this one will be diff not sure but I prefer heft.

Yes the Mongoose Clones are starting to appear. I will just leave it at that.

Front end looks just like the Mongoose. Only way I see it shaving different is more/less blade exposure. Curious as to what the price will be?

The Mongoose raised prices as promised after batch 2 was completed. If and one the Hawk is released I expect similar pricing at least above $150. I know making razors is not cheap. Hopefully we will see the long awaited Huntlee as some point.

That will work for me. If it's polished aluminum and light all the better. The head reminds somewhat of the Cobra.

This is a picture from today. You can see the head very clearly. Thanks Joe

I don't see the Cobra in this razor at all other than the blade it uses. I see a different razor.

The head looks just like a Mongoose with the excess stock cut away.

My issue with RR is that all the good ones released as prototypes . The quality is not on par with other . I am interested to see how new SE will stand up to the quality of mongoose , IKon , wolfman and others .

Yes.

IMO, a shameless copy of the Mongoose with no real innovation here.

I'm not impressed.
