For your consideration two brushes that do not get much use in my shave den.

The Kent BK12 is a giant of giants with a 31mm knot and 63 mm loft.  It is a large handled super soft brush that works equally well in cream and soap.  It is not a lather hog for such a large brush although does take a bit more product to fill it with rich lather.  It holds moisture and heat extremely well.
Used 10 times.  $160

The Thater 4292/3 two-band silvertip has remarkably soft tips and very good backbone.  It has a 22mm knot with 55 mm loft.  The fan shape makes it seem like a larger knot than 22mm and adds to the softness for a brush with stiffer bristles.  Used 14 times. $110
