I just got this lot for my anniversary from SWMBO.  After 15 years, I think she is a keeper.   Biggrin  The ATT slant feels like a finely machined weapon--first shave tomorrow.

Of course, now further purchases are off limits.  I will need to attempt restraint against my acquisition disorders, but I expect its worth it!

Oh yeah! Definitely a keeper! Congratulations on your marriage and on this huge gift from the misses.

The slant is smooth, efficient, and a pleasure to handle and look at. Less aggressive than I expected. But it still feels like a weapon--it will be my backup for the zombie apocalypse.

Very nice.  Let us know about your experience with ATT Slant. I may be wrong but it looks like an Atlas handle.

What else can I say, really! The way you describe the ATT, I want one, too. Smile

You know, that is what I told her.

She did not think it was as funny as I did. But silver jewelry had already taken care of any hard feelings.

After a week now, I have tried a few blades for comparison. Gillette blacks were very efficient, and lasted my normal three shaves.

Silver Blue blade was next. A blade which has only worked well in a couple razors. 1.5 shaves, and done, a smoother blade like the Black really is better to make use of the efficiency. Next in line in a Gillette Super Thin (Vietnam made). Then a Rapira Super Steel, sort of my go-to blade. I have a strong feeling that the tuck of Astra blades the razor came with the razor would work well too.

The handle is definitely my favorite part. Gorgeous and very easy to grip. The slant angle seems slightly less than my other slants, but still has that quality of easy to handle efficiency I see in other slants. I am beginning to think a slant in general might actually be a very good razor for a beginner.

Thanks for the well wishes, and cheers!
