I have now got three Custom brushes. All are synthetic knots, two plisson and one Muhle SFT V2. The newest is the Green one to the right made by Peter Wolf of Wolf Whiskers Custom Brushes. The other two by Rudy Vey. I have become a big supporter of custom brushes for two reasons:

The quality is fantastic

And

You can have what ever design you want for less than a branded brush (not to say I don't enjoy those brands)

Thank you to Peter and Rudy for their great craftmanship.

Yes he does head over to:

http://www.wolfwhiskers.com

He does take breaks from orders to fulfil what he is working on for others but usually re opens within the month.

Great guy to deal with, committed to getting what you want.

Nice brushes. I feel the same way. I support our custom brush makers when I feel the urge to get a brush. Rudy Vey, Shaverjoe, Wolf Whiskers, Doug Korn and Shavemac are guys I've had great success with.

Great brushes and it seems we have the same thoughts regarding brushes! All of mine are custom, except for two synthetics and a newly acquired Shavemac Zebra Beehive.  Biggrin

Most custom brush makers these days are putting out amazing brushes. Some are pouring their own blanks, original designs and can even stuff them with name brand knots.

It's a good time to have a brush addiction.

Does anyone know or have any experience with how knot warranty works on a say a Shavemac or WSP knot stuffed in a custom handle? Is it handled by the brush handle maker who installed it or it it through the knot manufacturer?

Fantastic looking brush and great shape. Really has elegance - that seems to come across in most of your pictures though.

No worries keep up the great photos. The shape of that brush might have to be my next one.

You might want to extend the lower portion of the handle by 5-10mm, though, as it will offer a better grip. Smile
