Based on all of the great feedback on the forum I bought some Pitralon Swiss.  It's a very effective AS with great post shave feel but there is something about the scent that I'm just not a fan of. The good news is that the scent doesn't last all that long and I'm hoping that it grows on me as its such an effective AS that I hope to keep in my rotation.  What are your opinions on the scent of Pitralon Swiss?

Pitralon Swiss is my #1 aftershave splash, as its performance is excellent.
Scent to me is reminiscent of pears and herbs, and as stated, does not linger at all.
In fact, I find this AS to be neutral overall, in terms of complementing all soaps/creams and EdT/EdC/EdP.

I get the pear too and agree that the Swiss Pitralon has a unique scent for an aftershave. I do wish the scent lingered longer as I don't do a lot of scent combining.

Yup.  Pear and herbs is exactly right.  It still lingers a bit long for my taste but it's still a great all around AS.  For the moment I'll hold onto it...

Agreed , doesn't stay too long on my skin. I heard from many that Swiss patrolin is best AS from the brand but I don't believed that because classic and polar work as good as Swiss on my skin. Again it's all about the skin.

Having been using the Classic, Original and Pure for around a year, I recently added the Swiss version. Personally, the scent is not to my liking and it's left my collection. it won't be missed.

First time I used it the scent was a little off putting but mellowed quickly and was nice.  The surprise for me was no burn or menthol which I prefer. It's  all good though. Still a keeper in my den.

Just tried the Swiss today and I like it a little better than the Floid Blue. Not saying that it will be my favorite yet,but it's a keeper for sure. I do wish that the scent lasted a little longer as well.

The Swiss scent is what I imagine I would smell if I was shaved in a hospital. The alcohol is very potent with the sweet fruit note blended in. I did not embrace it at first, but it grew on me and now I really enjoy it. I find that I don't get tired of the scent like I do with other aftershaves, so it would work well as a daily driver.

I was expecting to be put off by the scent before I ever put my nose on this stuff but I was more than pleasantly surprised by its unique scent profile..

Just a lovely light, natural sweet rose with some hints of fruity notes and an astringent like quality that gives it that "medicinal" vibe everyone talks about it but nothing that would remind of a hospital, personally.. I totally dig it! Smile
