Had a great #SOTD Tried something new today. It was brushless so didn't know what to expect but I was very pleased. I had 5 days of beard going so instead of the fatbot I switched to the Ikon OSS. It cut through very easily with no irritation at all. I did three passes and used the oil for both pre and post shave instead if a balm. My skin is so smooth SWMBO was quite pleased.

YBFSkincare cream, prep, and pre/post shave lemongrass oil.

I'm curious to know what blade you used. It must be a good one to get through 5 days of growth.

Thats too funny. I just saw the fatbot. Yep the fatbot definitely not a good choice.

That was a Gillette 7 o'clock super platinum. I used the OC side of the Ikon.

I've never tried shave oils - my father in-law uses one with his electric razor (I know, I know), and loves them.
