Has anyone successfully ordered MdC lately?

The wife wants to get me something for Fathers Day but knows nothing about MdC so it's up to me. Anyway, I see no way to order, at least no way that works. There is the appearance of "order here" but they don't work.

They do say they're building their site, but that's been up for months now.

You better hurry Brain if you want it for Fathers Day as it seems nobody in the US sells it.

Not a problem my friend. It's good stuff. The easiest soap in the world to make lather from (at least to me). It smells great and has great performance and just a few swipes of a brush over the top of the soap gets more than enough lather for a shave.

Yes! Worth the wait, and the money. If you do not like it, it will sell in minutes on b/s/t.

Randy, I almost feel guilty about your SAD. Biggrin

If I had ordered a few days earlier we could have gotten it for less. I blame my wife. She didn't ask what I wanted for Fathers day until then, when the Euro was on the upswing.

LOL! Quite alright. A darn fine Father's Day gift it is. I hope you enjoy it. We'll have to compare notes at some point. I can't imagine not loving it, given what others say.

I just ordered some for the first time myself. Delivery sure costs a pretty penny. They need someone over here to carry it.

Bullgoose???????????

from what i understand, it won't happen. they are a small family run business, not concerned with mass marketing and saturating the market. you have to respect that, at least i do. kind of like Nancy Boy (direct only, no middle men, no fuss)

as for the shipping, the cost does reflect the postage on the parcel when it shows up. it's the best packaging i've ever seen and if you are lucky, they will throw in a few samples for you. it took 8 days, tracked, from them to me (canada), which is quicker then some shipping from CAD to CAD or US to CAD

It arrived today with 2 soap samples as well as the MdC.

8 days, not too shabby!

Interesting scent too. Tomorrow will be the first lather.

nice, just in time for Fathers Day (perfect timing on delivery)...it'll make a perfect Sunday shave.

they say to leave the lid OFF, but i always put it back on to preserve the scent.

hope you like it.

For now I'm leaving the lid on.

But I'm also moving over to the "Martin de Candre shaving soap" thread since this is done.
