There is already a thread for numbers of blades on hand, but this addresses the years of shaves on hand.

OK, the way I'm figuring for myself... I get approx' 20 shaves per GEM SS ptfe (or more, but I'm using 20 shaves for the math), and my DE blades yield 7 shaves per.

The last time I counted and did the math I figured that if I shaved every day I had 40 years worth of blades on hand. I decided years ago that I was never going back to cartridges or any other way to shave, and took steps toward insuring that. If I live longer than that they can turn me to ash with a beard on my about to be incinerated face.

That's me. Of course I can extend that by shaving every other day or so, but that doesn't count. Only ones present shave regimen counts - no changes. If you shave every other day or every third day go with that.

Shaving the way you shave today, and the number of blades on hand, if TEOTWAKI (The End Of The World As We Know It) were to come tomorrow how long could you shave? No changes to present regimen allowed. Shaving as you do today and assuming enough shave soap on hand.

So how long do you put off having a beard in the event of TEOTWAKI?

Well if the end of the world is tomorrow then today would be my last shave I suppose

DE's: 25 years

SE"s 32 years

Feather AC 49 years

Maybe I have too many blades or I'm very optimistic about my life span

Schick Hydro 3 cartridges (four in stock): nine to twelve weeks.

Feather MR3 neo cartridges (three in stock): five or six weeks.

Various DE blades (18 in stock): 15 weeks.

Grand total: about seven to eight months.

But a planned trip to Japan later this spring -- assuming that the trip precedes the End Times -- will replenish the stock of Feather cartridges and KAI DE blades.

Orthographic quaere: as the “th” at the beginning of “the” is a unitary theta, and differs from a tau, and both “world” and “we" start with W, shouldn’t the acronym be: “ThEothWaWKI”?

Assuming 3 to 5 shaves each for modern blades, 5 to 10 for vintage blades, and 8 to 12 for injectors, I have somewhere between 30 and 45 years worth of blades if I shave every day and make little effort to extend a blade past the point when I feel some tugging or excessive roughness. Plus I have some multi-blade cartridges, a few SEs, and a couple of straights and shavettes for a change of pace.

You'll need to take that up with the person who I first heard it from. It was a e-novel more than a few years ago entitled TEOTWAKI. It wouldn't surprise me if he got it from someone else.

I only have a just over pack and a half of Feather Pros, and use 1 blade a week, so roughly 35 weeks worth for my cobra which I currently use 99% of the time.

My son has been getting some of my DE Blades. So if I was using a DE daily I would have about a years worth, but since I am not, I might have 15-20 years worth. I think if I really rotated between SE and DE I would have 2 years worth.

35 years if I were to keep them all for myself, but I have two boys, one of whom is already shaving. I'll be supplying him and his little brother for at least 8 years each, but the since the pups don't have to shave very often, they'll likely only knock a few years off my supply.
