Ive got about a year of blades.  I recently bought a 100-pack of Personna Blues.  Normally, I dont keep that many blades on hand.  With Amazon Prime 2-day shipping, theres really need to keep years and years worth of blades sitting around.

At my age, more than enough:

6+ years of my favorite DE blades
12+ years of ex-favorite DE blades stored in the basement

I've got about 30 years worth, which will carry me until I'm 90. My retirement planner tells me I need to plan to have enough money to last until I'm 90. Razor blades are just as important, but much easier to accumulate.

At the rate of shaving every other day and getting ~5 shaves per blade; I have 6.84931.... years of blades right now. Sisi1  But that said, I may still purchase blades and split the cost with my two boys.  Hmm

By and large, 2-3 years of DE blades, 0.5 year of Schick injector blades and 2-3 months of SE blades.

I have to do a re-count to be sure. Somewhere in the 25-35 year range, shaving every day, using each blade 4x.
All are xxxxx xxxxx blades. I'm not telling (again).

Holy crap some people really like blades!

I have an unopened 100-pack of Astra SP blades, and three or four 5-packs of Feather blades, and I feel like I have too many.

I like to keep a very lean den, and if I start acquiring too much gear I start feeling a bit of anxiety because of the mess. I can't keep more than two or three brushes around, and the same goes for razors too. Soap, well, I probably have 15 or so containers of various brands and varieties, but even that seems like a lot to me.

I have 2450 blades in my den. At 3 shaves per blade I'm at 20 years.
