I recently purchased a tub of TOBS Almond.  While creams, my Avocado and St James do have a little "body" to them.  For example, I can scoop out a portion with a baby spoon.  However, the Almond is of the consistency of a tube of cream.  Just wondering about the difference in texture of the TOBS tubs.

Anyone else encounter this?

The consistency varies from batch to batch. Sometimes they are firmer and other times fluffier.

I agree with Bullgoose..my TOBS Sandlewood is more firm than my TOBS Grapefruit.

I have seen a lot of variation in the consistency of my TOBS tubs.

No variation in my Trumper, T&H, or Crabtree creams.

It's exactly the opposite for me with these two! Go figure.

I got samples of TOBs, grapefruit, lavender, sandalwood and coconut were pasty, avocado and lemon/lime were gooey. The all worked about the same. Bought a tub of grapefruit, this was even firmer than the sample I had. I am guessing there is just some variation although one would think that consistency would be one of the production quality criteria.

The last TOBs Grapefruit that I had was runny.  The sample that I had before that was nice and thick.  It worked either way though?????

Same here - I have noticed that there is a difference between various TOBS 'flavors' with regard to thickness and consistency.  Does not bother me at all.  Absolutely one of my favorites after trying dozens of creams.  Good stuff!

Consistency with most creams vary quite a bit.

Owning A LOT OF CREAMS (250+ in the last 4 years), trust my experience.
Batch variations occur, and often !!
