Fellow Nook Members.

I want to post a couple photos of the wonderful brush I commssioned Peter from Wolf Whiskers.

I have a Klenzo B895 which I reknotted some time ago with a TGN Finest knot.  Its a great little brush.  However, i wanted a larger knot and have been wanting to try a Shavemac Silvertip two band.  I sent my Klenzo to Peter and asked him to scale it up to fit a 26mm knot.

Getting the knot from Bernd was an ordeal due to several unexpected events.  But Peter persevered.  Here is the result.  I am pleased.  Very pleased.

Thank you.

Its a 26mm knot with a 52 loft. I asked Peter to set at 51 as I like a firm feel. He was able to accomplish that.
I used it this morning for the first time. The tips are very soft. Backbone seems to be just about right. I expect that after 6 or 8 uses, it will be perfect!

Congratulations, Max! I hope you enjoy the new knot! I am really enjoying mine and I still think these are one of the best knots being offered, at the moment. Smile

Peter does great work and pairing one of his handles with a Shavemac 2-band knot has given you a superb brush.  The 26/52 mm specs seem ideal.

Amazing looking brushes ! I have a couple of vintage handles that I would like to reknot as well. I'm planning to get me some Shavemac 2 band goodness too ! Did you have to email Bernd yourself or did Peter take care of it ?

Peter secured the knot.  But after many ordering issues and concerns with the US Fish and Wildlife Agency, I expect he'll request that you order it and then ship it to him.

No.  IIRC the blank was secured from a source in England.
