Production was stopped about two years ago and we can no longer get them. Trust me, if John could find a source of Iridiums, he would carry them (as would I). They were my best selling blade, by far.

Why? Why is everything that is awesome, being taken off the shelves?

I saw on E-Bay an old blade wrapper for sale which said " Polsilver/Irridium"...made in Poland..more than likely the blades are relabled to create shortages and then brought out with some new hybrid technology to excite everyone to think the new perfect blade has been invented...concentrate on technique and most any blade will work ...however for $25.00 for 10 blades I will sell you either Polsiver or Irridiums. (note name..I rid of them)abbreviated Irridium !!!!

Supply and demand, plus a little bit of stupidity thrown in.
You should have stocked piled your blades like I'm stock piling Floid Blue.

Supply and demand huh? Didn't know there was a high demand for these blades. I better stock pile on those feathers before they're gone too! I never got the chance to try them out, let alone stock pile them. It's one of those things that ever occurred to me would disappear.

It's actually a low demand that caused them to be discontinued.
Believe it or not, the wetshavers on the various forums made barely a dent in the worldwide blade purchasing market. Since DE blades are cheap, the profit per blade is low...........especially when compared to cartridges. So there's little motivation for the companies to keep several blade brands running.
