I've been wet shaving for almost 2 years now.  All that time, I've wanted to try Tabac, with my Austrian and German heritage, it's always interested me.  It's one of those scents that is quite polarizing on the forums.  Some love it, others hate it.  I recently had the opportunity to trade for a milk glass jar of Tabac, and I have to say I LOVE IT!  It reminds me of a scent that my grandpa wore.  He's been gone for a while now, so no idea if it really was Tabac or not, but the scent alone makes me smile.

I was also quite impressed with the performance.  It seems to whip up a nice, slick lather too.  I like the scent so much that I just ordered a bottle of the aftershave splash.

I found my jar about a week or so ago when I was putting away my winter soaps and pulling out my spring soaps. Been on it for a couple weeks now, using it as an intermediate step to my spring soaps. I really cant find any reason to complain about it. Tabac is a sound staple in any wet shaving cabinet.

I love Tabac, and am sad that I used up the last of mine a little while ago. I'll have to wait to buy another puck of this stuff, but I will.......eventually.

It just works very well, and if the scent doesn't put you off, it is a great everyday soap.

Tabac is a very good soap.  So is the after shave splash and balm.  I have some hidden somewhere in a safe place.  I will have to try and find it.

I am getting used to its PowerSmile  Like the scent however could not use it before work as it is quite strong. I would rate it a strength of 9 out of 10.

Oh happy day.  I looked in the right closet and right box.  I have found my TABAC Soap and After Shave.  They will smell me in the morning. Smile

It was my first true shaving soap, so it will always have a special place for me.  I used it for years before the urge came to venture off and obtain "variety"... Tongue

I recently revisited Tabac after several months off and was reminded of how great of a soap this is. Such a rich and slick lather and an intense manly scent.

Tabac has to be in my top 3 ''production/commercial'' soap. Great stuff ! Thick, protective and slick lather. But the thing I really love about Tabac is the post shave. Gives me the same feel as top notch artisans like B&M and Tiki. Gotta love dat TABAC Smile !

Tabac is awesome. It seems it's the only soap I've put a significant dent in. Top 3 soap for me.

I bought a heap of Tabac sticks when I was last in Singapore (Mustafa's). Make good presents. I'm still using the first one, hardly made a dent in it, so I don't spare the horses Smile You only live once. Great stuff, nice and slick; great if you're into finishing-touch type shaving. I am around the chin/jawline area. That last lingering slickness even after a rinse off is perfect for the job.

Yes, I will never be without a puck and shave stick of Tabac. One of the best soaps I have tried. When you couple it with their AS and EDT you have a real wow factor going on. Another treat from Germany to use is the lowly Palmolive shave stick. Great performance at a price that is hard to beat. That is another soap I will never be without.

Tabac really is one of those Marmite soaps. It too reminds me of my Grandad and I love the fact the scent is so different to anything else out there. That glass jar is a slippery blighter too, I broke mine but luckily found an empty one on a BST recently. Happy days.

That is true; the German Palmolive is the best bargain out there. It's a great soap, and it smells wonderfully fresh. I would have loved to have tried the Sir Irisch Moos, though. Never had the opportunity.

Nothing can beat these products. Palmolive stick and cream are not only inexpensive but very good performers. And Tabac... just what has been already said  Smile
