I am so excited. My SAD purchases are arriving.  Biggrin
In no particular order, beginning tomorrow, my next 13 shaves will be with a new soap everyday. (S)=sample.
I will leave a brief commentary in my SOTD shots for those who are interested. I snapped a picture of the first 5 shaves.

Nice line-up!  Will you be reporting back or doing daily SOTD pics?

Also, what's that one on the left that looks suspiciously as though it says Bourbon?  It's making me thirsty.

It is actually Poggio dei Pini.
The scent is a sweet pine with some other nice undertones. Imagine hiking in the semi-desert areas of the mountains of southern Europe such as Portugal, Spain, France, and Italy. Biggrin
It is just lovely!

Day 1
Stirling Executive Man

Report:
The Stirling lathered as expected. Some shavers seem to have issues, I don't. Nice and creamy. I have been lathering using a very wet M6 (TSN LE) and covering the puck with water. It's messy, but once the protolather washes over the edge of the container, I can feel a braking of the bristles as friction builds. 30sec load from this point onward.

The scent of executive man is upper crust. A poster mentioned Creed Aventus, maybe that will mean something to some. Not to me.
Executive Man has a high note of sweet orange, maybe lavender, (I am untrained at this). Not an earthy scent, but heady, slim, delicate, colorful scent.
Bridge, not Poker;
Polo, not Football.
You see where I am going.

I did like it so much that I ordered a bottle of the splash.  Blush
Post shave with Stirling is really great. I finished with a splash of Thayer's Witch Hazel and a few sprays of C.O. Bigelow No. 1585.  Thumbup

On deck:
Mystic Water Poggio dei Pini

Test lather shot submitted for your approval.

The scent of MW PdP is fantastic. Celestino described it well above. It's my favorite MW soap and I have just about all of them.

Matt, I think you might be worse than I with Mystic Water scents. I am trying to keep them to a maximum of 12 so that I don't have to wait such a long time to use one scent! I don't think I could wait more than 12 days to use Bay Rum.  Biggrin

Celestino, I challenge you, no, I dare you to go two weeks (14-days) without using the MW Bay Rum. Smile

Hahahaha! No problem, Johnny! Once I get my recent order from Michelle with three more scents, then I will used everything except for the Bay Rum and then move on to my Cold River ones! It should easily take me over two weeks. Make sure you check my SOTD's to see if I abide!   Biggrin
