I purchased a brush from Andi in Germany.

The German Post did their part. Even the US Customs did their part. But our USPS put this registered package on the last stagecoach out of New York and it is SLOWLY making its way across country.

I believe it is going to take longer for this package to travel from New York to Wisconsin than it did from Germany to New York. Angry

I feel your pain having been dealt some lousy hands by USPS.

I'm starting to despise the USPS!  I recently did a trade with another member.  I even paid extra for the USPS tracking.  It was supposed to show up in CA on Thursday.  The tracking still showed that it was accepted at my post office.  No updates or anything.  Then I get a text message on Friday that it has been delivered.  I guess they forgot to scan it along the way??????

They say a chain is only as strong as its weakest link and there are a lot of weak link in the postal system.

Weathers fine.  Either by stagecoach or a slow pony express rider.

I guess I have been lucky!!  My buddy ordered a car part from San Diego.  He lives 100 miles from San Diego.  Well...USPS sent to part to Indianapolis!!  They realized the error and sent it back to California.  That part took a tour of the Midwest.LOL

I still prefer the USPS to UPS.  Take a look at this box that UPS delivered to me from New York City yesterday.  This is exactly how it arrived and before I opened it:

Inside was a new camera.  Luckily, B&H packed it decently and the camera seems to be fine.  However, I once had to return a television stand to Amazon because UPS completely screwed up the way it was to be delivered and managed to damage it as well.  UPS gets no love from me.  Overall, while it is not perfect, I get better service from the USPS.

USPS again! One of my packages was shipped on March 23 and still not received.  Opened a trouble ticket with USPS but that again is showing no update!

I agree with the fact that in many areas, the USPS absolutely sucks.  Had a package sent from Minnesota to Sarasota, FL, but the sender was one number off in the zip code.  Tracked and found that the package was less than four miles from my house and called the PO it was at and made arrangements to pick it up in the morning.  In their infinite wisdom, the post office returned the package that afternoon to the sender after the one attempt to deliver.  Cost me an additional $22.00 to get the damn thing.  No telling how much it cost the PO.  And THAT is why they are in the red.  UPS tears stuff up, but at least they deliver it.  Horrible choice between the two.

That tape with strings inside always looks like that no matter who delivers it to me. Moderator edit: unkind commentary directed at fellow member.

Anyways the lazy postal workers never pick up my priority mail pickups that I schedule. They did it the first two times, and four other times through out the year I scheduled them for pickup and they where never picked up. I gave up and use FedEx now even though it costs more.

USPS also never leaves notices when they fail to deliver a package. Tracking just says "out for delivery; delivery status not updated" I thought someone had stolen my package the first time that happened. I had to contact the seller and they told me USPS does that...

It is a nightmare to go to my local post office which is in a shady neighborhood. Workers are behind bullet proof glass and they think that gives them license to be rude to everyone. Be prepared to wait 30 minutes in line.

For some reason my package is having a hard time trying to figure out how to get out of the state of Michigan.  Its been there for the past three days going from one sort facility to another.  But it is slowly working its way west towards Wisconsin.

I had thought patience was a virtue that you acquired when you got older and wiser!  Biggrin
Good luck with the wait, my friend!

I bought some ABC gear from bull goose and instead of delivering to Singapore, USPS sent it to Canada….what a bunch of tossers! I'm told this can take 2 months to set right and eventually get my package.
