MDC fougère would be a top choice. I do wonder myself what a inexpensive readily available alternative would be

MDC Fougere is a soap, not a cream.  If soaps are in play, my recommendation would be LASS Topanga Fougere.  I don't know anything about creams; I never use them.

If it's a cream you want I'd suggest Al's Shaving Product's  "Fougere About It" Sapone da Barba.

Consider Mystic Water Poggio dei Pini. It's a very soft soap, but not a cream. It's not truly a Fougère (Fern), just to clarify, but I feel it shares many fragrance notes with MdC.

I find my favorite is Cold River Soap Works Fougere Modern. It is one of his newer scents so you won't find as much popular in suggestions because not so many have tried it yet.

You need to try this one, I promise you!   Smile

Indeed and it might be a good idea to merge these two threads.

+1 on the Al's. Also check out Queen Charlotte Soaps. Great performance and their Fougere is one of my favorite scents.

Jermyn St for a cream from a more commercial venue.

Don't forget the new Soap Commander floral Fougère called Renewal.

My choice is LA Shaving Soap's Topanga Fogure.  Great soap and nice scent.

Tiki Fougere usually comes highly recommended although I haven't tried it. I adore MdC's Fougere but tallow/lanolin soaps are doing it for me these days.

I like it. Any Tiki can be recommended, I´d expect. Good performance. Just for the record, I think this one is a bit floral- bubblegummy in scent

This, all the way.  If you are open to soaps, too, I can't imagine a Fougere scent better than LASS's Topanga Fougere.  It's brilliant.
