I do not have a lot of brushes (8) like some here and I do not have a nice camera to take a picture of what I have. So, taken from my cheap 7-year old slider phone, here is my humble collection.

L/R: 3 - Plisson Size 12 Synthetics, Simpsons P8 TSN LE, Plisson Size 10 European Grey Badger, Plisson Pure Black Badger, Simpsons Classic 1, and bringing up the rear, the Wee Scot.

Well, that's it, a brush for each day of the week and one left over.

Those are very nice, I see your a Plisson man Smile. I only have one Plisson, a synthetic, but they are great brushes. I love the Simpsons Wee Scot, one of my favorites of all. Congratulations!

Keeping it to one brush a day shows great restraint!  Are you never tempted?

I am tempted everyday.  Before the introduction of shaving forums I was never tempted as I did not know some of these things even available.  For the first 38 years of shaving I thought all there was, was my cheap boar brush, a puck of Old Spice, Williams, and Colgate, and either Mennens Skin Bracer or Aqua Velva.  Of course my Schick's and Gillette's, with a few years of shaving with a Double Duck Straight.  So 8 brushes along with 5 razors and untold soaps and after shaves are a luxury for me.

I have more trouble deciding what to get rid of than what to buy.

That's why I got it, for travel but it makes a great everyday brush.  It's great for face lathering with my Speick or Arko stick.

I have one of those too.  The Size 12 Plisson Synthetic fits nicely in this tube.

Beautiful collection. That Black Badger looks interesting. What's the scritch-factor?

I can appreciate your collection, it sure makes picking out your daily brush a lot easier.  I remember when you were all about the boars and now there's not a single one to be seen.  I wonder how this collection will evolve over the next few years...

Thank you for sharing Johnny!

The scritch-factor is right up there.  You want your face exfoliated, this is the brush to have. Smile

Time will tell.  I still have one special boar given to me by a special friend that gets brought out on special occasions.
