I checked Romera's site today. The only custom brush that seems to be available right now is their 2nd Anniversary LE. No other brushes, except for their stock acrylic brushes, are displayed.

I suspect, based on my personal experience only, that he may be having quality issues with his handles.

Hi, as I warned a few weeks ago in another thread, I took 20 orders and when ready'll get more.

Meanwhile only will catch the request of the L. E. and models are sold in stock.

Why not put them back to the site and make them non-orderable? I frequently visit and stare at the brushes. Smile

He sent my brush without engraving "romera" under the handle. And he also didn't notify me about it. Feeling frustrated!

Bummer! That was a nice touch hints it's an artisan brush. Sad

i don't own a romera brush but own the knot on a different handle, 24x51 manchurian. must say it's a fantastic knot, excellent backbone, density, and flow through. and most importantly feels amazing, soft yet has some scrub to it to massage the face. understand the issues people are having with the handles but $80 or so including shipping... it's a fantastic value!

I have a third brush from Gustavo on the way.  His Romera's have become my favorite Manchurian.  BEBO8's description is spot on.  The backbone, softness and wonderful flow through work beautifully together.  I find his handles terrific as well.

Gustavo is working hard to process the backlog and getting the workshop organised to cope with the demand as far as I know.

Three days ago two Benfatti Acrylico arrived; one in a beautiful butterscotch and one in a sparkling blue / brown. Not engraved indeed (as it probably should have been), but no problem for me after the time Gustavo and I spent on Facebook discussing the brush.

The butterscotch is spot on. Flawless quality and a bulbous 26 / 52 knot in Manchurian as suggested by Gustavo.

The blue brown Benfatti is my first multi color brush and I like it a lot. it shares the same knot, which in the butterscotch proved a superb performer.

And while we at it, a shot with the Aniversario 2, the brush that started my interest in Romera.

Great brushes, Wim! Wish I couldn't see lathe marks but I'm curious if they could be wiped out. Love that Benfatti style of Gustavo.

Enjoy your Romera! I like it so much I may get the full brush from Gustavo. The rustic handles look beautiful

Do the manchurian knots perform like gel tipped knots?
