I've been enjoying my Stainless DCL Matte finish Ikon for about a month now and have to say it is really a superb razor.  Tried the OC baseplate, which was nice, but decided to go for a two pass & touchup DFS.  So, I got a solid bar baseplate and that did the trick.  Same great shave as the OC but a little more efficient.  It took a little bit to get the feel of this baby with the bulldog handle.  After a while, I could feel exactly where the blade was at and how efficient it was performing.  Decided to mix things up and found the best way to get the 2+pass shave I was looking for.  First pass is against the grain on the face, cross grain under the jawline (straight vertical downwards all the way). Next pass is straight vertical from moustache to ears, all the way.  Last touch-up pass is only under the jawline, 45 degree angle upwards - against the comopund curve grain.  Absolutely DFS+ with no burn or nicks at all.  Great razor and still fun to work with!

Ikon SB and OSS handle is one of my favorites, I am always satisfied with the result, and always on my rotation, amazing razor.

The iKon SB is excellent and doesn't get enough attention.

I'm a big fan of Ikon razors.  I have 2 slants and an OC from them.

I just used mine for the first time last week. I got it as part of Ikons 5 piece set which included a handle, top cap, safety bar, open comb, and oss/ dual comb baseplates. It is more aggressive then the razors I have been using and I have to be very careful about my technique. So far I have been getting good results but I am still trying to find my go-to-blade for that razor.

iKon SB is a true champion -- it delivers a flawless shave (similar to an R41) and the blade alignment system is as close to perfect as it gets!

Like all the iKon razors I've seen, the razor head completely covers the blade ends (no need to leave them free for manually truing the blade with the SB). This is a good thing, on the whole, but the SB bottom plate corners occasionally scrape against my nostrils while doing detail work under the nose -- I've learned to be extra careful.

The early reviews lead me to infer that the new ShaveCraft Tech may be an extremely efficient razor too -- this could be a real contender in the affordable high quality razor market.

The Tech is now in my top 2. It's giving my ATT H2 a tough fight for the top slot. I still to like the heavier head on the H2 more, but the Tech is an awesome value.

It's got a pretty good feedback just like the other ShaveCraft razors. May not be quite as much as the H2, but you can't miss it.

Did my first shave with the Tech. Very similar to the Standard. Extremely smooth and very close. Much better then the R41 2011' model .

Hello. I ordered the new Shavecraft Short Comb, but dont have it yet.
I usually shave with a DE89. Do you think it can be too agressive for me?

I don't think it will be too aggressive at all. But probably a much better and closer shave then the DE89 which I have nothing against just is a very mild razor head.
The short comb and tech are almost at opposite ends of the spectrum.
