I was a computer programmer and so I've been on the internet since the days of the 9600 baud modem. I even had a 300 baud modem. I've been a member of a lot of forums. I usually drop out of them for one and only one reason: invariably there are 1 or more "resident experts" who don't know the term YMMV and you DARE NOT question what they tell you. If you do a flame war starts.
In view of the above I was reluctant to join this forum so I lurked a while.
This is the ONLY forum I have ever joined that was not a constant battle of egos. The users here are like Southern Gentlemen and I GREATLY appreciate it!
I am learning a lot here and the members have been very generous to me. I thank you for that too!
If I ever get out of line you have my permission to kick me in my big fat a--.
Thanks guys!

I definitely agree. I love this site and the people on it are wonderful. I discovered wet shaving through Reddit's Wicked_Edge, but once I needed more in depth knowledge of products and techniques, this was the place. While I still frequent Wicked_edge, that seems more like a starting out point for new converts and I've become more of a resource than questioner.
Thanks everyone.
Thanks everyone.

Heh heh heh heh heh!! I retired from 25 years of computer programming. I said I was sick of computers. Now guess who else spends a lot of his time on the internet in this forum????

Just imagine how much better UncleD will be seeing it once he has a successful cataract surgery.

It is a great group and I am very pleased with how things are going. The Mods and other administrators have been great to work with and they all bring unique talents and perspectives to the table. We have also been spoiled by our great members who, more or less, moderate themselves.
