I shaved with my DE89 again today, and forgot how great of a shave it was! My only gripe is that I love the look/feel of the all stainless razors. Even though the Feather and I didn't agree with each other, it felt great to hold, and I loved the aesthetics.
So my question is for those who have tried the DE89, and can compare it to the Weber, Tradere, or the Ikon Oss. Which performs closest to the DE89?

The OSS would be the closest then the Weber. Echoing Jeff's thoughts, Paul from iKon has a sale on handles right now and pairing your DE89 with a bulldog handle gives it a weight oomph that helps make it a bit more aggressive.

I think you mean Greg from iKon.

I find the Weber a bit smoother then the EJ but that might be because it's a DLC version, never had the opportunity to try the polished one. The new Feather on the other hand is just a bit milder then the EJ. I had no problems with the handle on the EJ (Chatsworth Barley handle).

SS razors worth a look:
Weber
ATT M
iKon 2012/13 Open Comb
Tradere SB
Pils
Feather AS-D2 (reported to be mild - mildly moderate; I should have mine this coming week for firsthand experience).
All of these are mild to mild/moderate. All are excellent razors and should make you fairly happy for SS "mild-moderate" shaving tools.

I would have to add my vote to two options. If you really want an all SS razor, go with Weber. It shaves every bit as well or better than EJ DE89 and is all SS made in US. Very good razor. However, if all you want is a better handle than the EJ's, then definitely get one of the SS handles readily available out there. Either Ikon or Weber bulldog should provide you with lots of grip. I have an Ikon bulldog and love using it on all my 3 piece razors. My EJ DE89 is sitting idle most of the time these days as I prefer more aggressive open comb razors, but I have used it with the Ikon bulldog and it is an excellent combination.
