Outstanding quality.
Truly functional objects of art.
A celebration of organic substance in an era of synthetic superfluity.

The horn is not only alluring to the eye, but delivers an exquisite feel in the hand.
The aesthetically triumphant finish feels "crisper."
The refined shape, provides an updated curvaceousness that is both captivating and balanced.
The elegant shape is perfect.
The labelling is without fault and well suited to the material and colour.

The visual allure of horn is that despite first glance it is not a solid colour.
There is abundant intricate nuances in both and the Jasper boasts an occasional vein of bold contrast that can be so prevalent in horn.
The base of the Jasper is particularly intriguing with natural growth rings capturing light providing a beautiful palette of colour.

These brushes are truly glorious and represent Simpson's very finest offerings to date.
Natural materials hold remarkable appeal and these are without doubt the pinnacle of my Simpson collection.

Ben, wonderful photos you're giving us, thank you. The Light Horn that Mark sent you is extremely creamy in appearance, a really unique look. And the growth rings on the base are really something special looking, with its transparency you can really see the layers making up its diameter. The Dark Horn appears to be so dark it wants to disappear in the photo, a real contrast in colors in your Duke pair. Both knots look to be so very white with a perfect shape on them, a beautiful matched pair you've been given by Mark, Congratulations!
Really captures what I feel is the purpose of Simpsons horn release... "A celebration of organic substance in an era of synthetic superfluity."
