I've noticed that Taylor soaps are sold out or in very short supply in most online vendors. I'm wondering why.  Could it be just because it's so good and everybody's buying it, or is Taylor's doing something to cause this? I also see that it's no longer being offered by one vendor.

Interesting question.  I know a month or two ago I couldn't find TOBS Luxury Lavender Water at U.S. vendors, but TOBS in the U.K. said that they had it for sale.  Phil (Bullgoose) was going to check to see why he couldn't get it, but haven't heard back from him.  Perhaps it is a distribution thing.  Maybe.

I asked a different vendor the same question, and have not received a reply. This fellow is a trusted friend, and it's highly unusual to get no response, unless he's on vacation or something.

I experienced the same problem, when I tried to order the TOBS Sandalwood soap.
Found it online at my local Danish vendor for a fair price, so bought it there.

Also own th TOBS jermyn street hard soap.

Both TOBS hard triple milled soap is on par with my 6 DR Harris triple milled soaps.

Hope they continue to produce them and that they are not re formulating them.

I like TOBS but will be taking a break from it and working down other parts of inventory once I finally get through my sandalwood and grapefruit tubs (in a few weeks or so at 2-3x/week each).

Looks like the availability issue must have been short-lived. Bullgoose has TOBS, so does West Coast, so does Amazon (to name just three).

I totally agree too. DR Harris are better performers.  I keep TOBS sandalwood soap for its scent.
