My favorite sandalwood scent is the one I found on Geo F Trumper soap.Unfortunately, the soap is not longer made, but I like it over the Art of Shaving one, which is possible, one of the most intense out there.
I need to try Taylor Of Old Bond Street sandalwood shaving soap, but its cream gave me a headache because of the scent.
The Crabtree and Evelyn sandalwood scent is quiet mild and I like it too.

Would you say they are similar in scent between the C&E and AOS cause if I didn't care for the C&E a stronger version of it is not something I want to risk lol, would you say they are pretty much the same just different intensity,
I had a EJ sandalwood sample once was much different then the C&E

No,the C&E and the AoS are two different sandalwood scents. The AoS is more "powerful" and also "complex".For many is the best sandalwood scent out there.
The Edwin Jagger/Muhle sandalwood scent are also quiet nice, better for my taste, than the C&E.

AOS is a strong complex cologne type scent. I would say that from all the reviews of Sandalwood creams and soaps AOS is very well loved. And among the top if not the top smelling and performing creams for those who love sandalwood. For the record I have only used AOS and Proraso red so I'm not really in a position to compare a lot of sandalwood scents.

The only sandalwood I've ever tried is TOBS soap and OGB bayrum/sandalwood AS from the sampler. I don't know what sandalwood is supposed to smell like, but can tell you I really like the TOBS scent. It has a powdery note in it, not overpowering, really nice scent.
For me the lather is very nice as well, easily comes up to a creamy consistency no matter which brush I use (badger, boar, synthetic). This soap was/is a surprise. I bought it very cheap just to try a triple milled soap and wasn't expecting much due to what I'd read on the forums about the reformulation. For me at least this was a lesson in YMMV, this stuff works great and I'm not missing the tallow ... sorry to get off on a tangent, I know this thread was about the scent. Nice scent too.
