Ok gentleman so it is known I absolutely love Morris & Fordran. I have been blessed enough to own a few and cherish each of them. That being said I had read so many great things about Wiborg that alas curiosity has had it's way with me. So these 2 just arrived yesterday and here they are. Both are 28mm knots in white badger:

A comparison to your M&F would be good to hear!

What handle design is that? I have a 28mm white badger "barber" in the queue.

Hello, As I stated I hold M&F in high regard, top of my list.  Keep in mind today is my first time with the Wiborg.  I primarily face lather so for me the backbone, dense knot and super soft tips of the M&F is key for me.  That being said the Wiborg white badger is velvety soft and build quality down to the packaging is amazing.  With this 28mm knot I find it to be slightly floppy for face lathering. Not a bad thing but with my limited use this seams to be the difference as of today.

I recommend going for little shorter loft on Wiborg . However the flow through could be challenging with shorter loft . Wiborg hold a lot of leather and the tips are soft . Maybe little floppy is not a bad thing . Enjoy

Certainly not a bad thing and by no means subtracts from the quality and your right it holds A LOT of lather.. Just a difference.

Very nice!

That is also my preferred engraving/logo from Wiborg.

Likewise, Florian was great to deal with.  He made these two just as I asked. The cursive logo is classy in my opinion.

Florian set my White Badger knot low enough that there is no flop. I mentioned that it will be a strictly face lathering brush and it looks like that specification helped.

I would love to go with another custom from him in this hair in the future. The brush quality is great!

Yours look devine Smile

Thank you.  They really are very well made and the hair is SUPER soft.  I didn't think to mention my lathering technique, good on you for doing so.  As I mentioned before yesterday was my first run at it so today we'll try again.

Looks great. The logo is a little over the top imho. Too busy.

But great looking brush hair and handle design.

Day 3 and I'm getting them figured out.. The tips are velvet soft and these brushes hop a LOT of lather..!! Truth be told I'll try bowl lathering tomorrow as they are not bad at face but feel they'd be better suited for a bowl.... IMO
