I've got less hair on my head than ever before, but I see my barber twice as often. When I had a full head of hair I'd visit the barber once every six weeks or so. Now that male pattern baldness has reared my ugly head, I've got to see him every three weeks in order to look presentable. Funny how the price for the haircut hasn't reduced by the same exponent.

Well, like an old badger brush I shed a few hairs at every washing and combing, but nothing where you can really tell. I use to get a haircut every two weeks when I was younger. If hair even thought about touching my ears I was in the barbershop. Now I just don't seem to care. It's been two months since I last visited the lady that cuts my hair and it might be another two months before she sees me. If the mood strikes I will go, if not I won't.
My hair is considerably longer than in my avatar picture which was taken last July.

+2
I've been cutting my hair for about 15 years, after my old school $5 barber retired. It was tricky at first but I've gotten pretty good at it.
Anyway I used to cut it once a month, now I find I need to do it every 2 weeks.

I gotta laugh out of that

Our daughters and their friends are now the hip, right on, together and what's happening 20 somethings. When did this happen?!?

It has not happened. They are posers. Until my kids can attend a Woodstock like I did, they are not what's happening. My son is the drummer for this great 9 piece band in Austin and guess what kind of music they are playing, my generation, that's what. We are still the hip ones. I just cannot shake my booty like I use to.

No doubt the best music spanning half a century. I'd love to hear your stories of Woodstock someday, man.

I gotta laugh out of that! In 2000, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young were doing their CSNY2K tour. Mrs. chazt and i were standing outside madison square garden waiting for our friends to arrive. As im standing there im looking around saying, "damn, look how old everbody is!" G doesn't miss a beat and says, "have you looked in the mirror lately?" Talk about a reality check!

I'll bet that was a great show!!

I say there are 2 choices. I still have mine but keep it buzzed and sometimes shaved. You can always do that or just do like my grandfather. Let one side grow long and just brush it over. I always smile when he wakes up from a nap on the couch and it sticks straight up like a rooster.

Yes, it was! Up until that point, for the previous 25 years I'd seen almost all the various combinations and permutations of all 4 artists, including solo. However 2000 was the first time I saw them all on the same stage at the same time. It was a Big thrill for me!!
