With all the rage of have sweet and salty Burger King is offering on a national basis their new Bacon Sunday which is made up of vanilla soft serve with fudge, caramel, bacon crumbles and a piece of bacon.

Now I know the big thing is chocolate and salt but this is nothing new to me.When I was a kid I used to have chocolate malts with long stick pretzels. So I guess I way ahead of my time.

Whats your experiences with sweet and salty

Jerry, our family ate something very similar - pretzels dipped in Hershey's Chocolate Syrup. Yum.

Chocolate pretzels are very popular today. Your family invented them.

I think sweet and salty is a match made in Heaven. Salted caramels anyone? I probably like bacon more than the next guy, heck I've cured and smoked my own bacon but I just don't get the chocolate bacon thing. I've had bacon and chocolate, both commercially made and I've made it myself and it's just not my thing. Bacon and vanilla doesn't sound all that great to me either. I'm not sure how good bacon and caramel would be together either, it could be great.
