That second razor is not a Gillette NEW.  The nickel Tech does not have the original handle.  GLWTS.

The 2nd razor is an old type ball end NEW. It predates the more common 1930's NEW that everyone goes for. The seller is correct.

Someone should jump on that GEM Contour . Chances are good you will regret buying it because your DE shaves will no longer be as comfortable. A bout of SE-RAD will then begin.

It's either an "old type" or a "NEW", not both.   Gillette "NEW"s have a channel along the bottom for the rails on the underside of the top cap to fit into, not a three post system.  The seller is incorrect, as are you.

It's a $5 razor, does it matter if its a New, Old or Ball End?

It matters because there's no such thing as an "old type ball end NEW".
