Today I harvested 2# of fiddleheads from our tiny patch of them. That will be enough for my springtime treat of the wild vegetable.

There is more information at the link, but if you like asparagus you'd probably like fiddleheads. They taste much the same.

They grow in abundance on our property. A very short season. 

I went to your link and never knew there was a fiddlehead borne illness.
