Looking to trade my M&F XL2 Heritage in Faux Ivory for another brush. I am the original owner and ordered this brush from Lee in mid-December 2014. This brush measures 29x50 and is very dense with a mixture of softness and moderate scritch. Just to avoid any confusion, this brush has 2-band Heritage hair, but has the Blonde badger logo on the handle. My understanding is that if you order a Heritage knot, it will typically come in a handle marked Blonde because he does not have a separate logo designed for Heritage hair.

Brushes I'm interested in trading for:
* Another M&F
* Block letter Rooney
* Simpsons Super/2-band/Manchurian
* Other ideas?

Please PM with questions and thanks for looking!

Great looking brush.  Can you tell me what the difference is between Lee's 2XL and the XL2, i.e. handle size, knot density?  Thanks!

I believe 2XL and XL2 are interchangeable, and refer specifically to a "stubby" style handle with a 28mm socket. XL indicates these are larger versions of the older single ring handles that had smaller sockets.  2XL/XL2s may have either 2 rings or 3 rings, and may have any of Lee's knot grades - Finest, Blonde or Heritage.

Lee referred to this brush as an XL2 when I placed my order.

Lee calls them xl2 xl3 etc.
On the forums and groups we tend to use the 2XL 3XL nomenclature.
