This winter I brought in some Voskhods and have been impressed. Going thru my first 5 pack they've had a run in my ATT R1 and S1 with very good results. Smooth sharp and long lasting. I've binned the first 3 of them after 5 shaves. I can let them run another day or 2 as I haven't had any roughness from them. So far so good. I wanted to thank all you guys that posted about the Voskhods, as it motivated me to take them for a spin

I bought a few because of the reviews and low cost. Seems to have been a good investment

Voskhods are amazing in certain razors like the Weber PH and Above the Tie Slants. I always have some around.

The Voskhods are my goto blades and I've even given them as gifts to friends to try!

In fact I keep my son in Voskhods since he started shaving with double edge razors!

I bought a bunch of Voskhods as well as a bunch of other blades from this seller.  It'll take 3-4 weeks to get delivered from Russia, but he's quick to answer questions and seems easy to deal with. Legit.

I had my first shave with a Voskhod yesterday and I feel it has been my best shave to date. No tugging, irritation or bleeding. I only have one Voskhod blade but if the next couple of shaves with it are as good as the first I'll be buying some in bulk.

Weird how the mileage varies. I thought they were decent, but a little rough. Not as smooth as my GSB, 7'OC Blacks or Personna Med Blues. Quite the bargain though.

They are also my go to blade.  All I shave with is Pre-war Techs, and they work wonderfully in there for me.  My second choice, very similar in feel and also dirt cheap, Super-Max Platinums.  I've got 200 Voskhods and 200 Super-Max Platinums in my shaving cabinet.  Both picked up on ebay for next to nothing!  I'm happy my favorite blades are both cheap and easy to acquire.

the YMMV is appropriate as I feel exactly what you feel on the GSBs.

smooothest blade I've tried, but not sharp enough.  Good for off days!
