pretty excited to find this bad boy in the wild for $22. I have been told its from the victorian era maybe between 1840 & 1860

That's a nice razor! Congratulations on the find!

It should clean up well, and it will shave well, as do all decent W&B's.

Good find should make a excellent restoration candidate, the scales are definitely not original home made job, ask for a really nice set of flecked horn and bullseye washers when you have the razor restored.
