I'm still using AoS sandalwood. I am getting good shaves, not the slickest though. I probably should be more patient with adding water. Maybe I will be able to finish this jar before getting tired of it!

I'm loading the cream right out of the tub like a croap.

I'm at the one month mark with AoS and it's still surviving. Always easy to lather, it's top tier cream. In fact, I'm trying to (as I said above) finish it because it's from 2013, but the performance is so good I thought about hinting to my wife to get me one of the new scents for my birthday in a few months. Then I look in the closet and see 5 B&M and 4 Haslinger - my other favorites - and think I should hold off.

Anyone else still chugging along?

The cream that started it all. An awesome scent.

A classic, Gabe! FYI the Crabtree & Evelyn avocado hand lotion is a fairly close match.

Valobra Cologne this week. I broke through the bottom last time out, so I may try finishing it off.

I can't believe my AOS is still going! It's very near the end, especially after I accidentally overhydrated the cream by squeezing some leftover lather back in (there was a LOT left over when I was on travel and the water was really soft). If it makes it until Dec 4, that will be two months straight. I'll post back when it finishes.

I didn't post back but my AOS did make it to Dec 4, so it lasted two months of solo use. I used some DR Harris on the 6th but do not think I've settled on that being my next soap for the whole week. I might bounce around a bit.

Edit: I decided to use Arko Moist cream for the week or longer. I know it's near the end so I want to wrap it up if possible.

Still trying to "3017" (use to completion) my Arko Moist cream - with a few random days in the middle  (DRH on the 6th, B&M on Christmas, and Penhaligon's today for my birthday)

Ive done less soap rotation and used SV Colonia for the last 11 shaves. I miss seeing the activity in this thread as I normally enjoy lurking it. I don't know where blzrfn has been but Gig103, thanks for your participation in this thread. It's a cool idea to stick with some soap to familiarize yourself with it's properties.

I'm still around but I've been 3017 creams and soaps now. I'm still working on TOBS Avocado. I bet I have another 2 weeks left.

Cool, Gabe!

I grabbed my B&M Leviathan (first generation of the soap) and it has a hole in the middle. It has me thinking about 3017'ing it too, which would be my third in a row. I'll use it for at least the week and see how it fares.

I've been hitting this all week (the past 3 shaves so far) so I might as well keep it going.

She's a beaut of a scent. I suppose it's (maybe) somewhat similar to Sienna but with an aquatic-ozonic spritz (the sulfur).

Makes excellent lather.
And objectively it's not your typical RR / TFS formula, as it contains shea butter, olive oil, and sulfur. My skin loves it. [Image: 610d78406ab3491f8a094d15b1064dd1.jpg]

I finished the TOBS Avocado. Next up is Jabonman Lavanda. The performance is very good, but its a little drying. I'll see if it changes with repeated use, although I doubt it will.

I'm starting the third week with Leviathan. It's a bold scent, hard to pair with an AS or cologne, but the performance (OG Barrister and Mann) is very good  and I'm encouraged by the growing "donut hole" shape so I think it would be cool to do my third "3017" in a row.

I used RR Stallion this morning, and after that shave there is no reason to move on quickly.
Think I'll stick to it this week. Very creamy lather. And my skin feels extremely soft still, 7 hours later.

Gentlemen I think I'll join you here this week. I'll be using Mike's Naturals Orange, Cedar, & Black Pepper, a soap with a scent I absolutely love and a postshave feel that is great for my skin. However I've had a bit of trouble getting consistently good lather which is why I'm going to use it exclusively this week to try to hone in my technique.

This morning I used my Omega 81064 boar brush with decent results, good not great, but still had an enjoyable shave. I didn't have time for a proper brush soak this morning so tomorrow I'll soak the brush to see what effect if any that has.

I unintentionally joined in as I will be shaving with Wholly Kaw Dark Vetiver for a month.

as a new shaver, others on the forum who are more experienced suggested that i shave with the same hardware and software for a month in order to develop consistency in my wet shaving technique before starting on a rotation.

I am a week in and the WKDV is superb. I really like the scent. Rich and earthy. makes sense as vetiver comes from the roots of a grass.

my first tallow based soap has provided all of the slickness and cushion that I could imagine for my first 3 shaves this month. my face feels moisturized throughout the shaving process and afterwards as well.
