I just checked out thier website, very intriguing. Will you trying it without a brush as well?

The donut hole in my Leviathan was looking good, and then I pressed down the sides towards the middle to load easier. And there's more soap left than I want to try and 3017.

That said, I'm now on Chiseled Face Sherlock for a week.

Hi, try and make a dome with the soap, rather than just level in the container. It makes a huge difference 6o loading the brush and lather is superior.

Gabriel, the website does say it can be used with or without a brush.  I'll give it a try without a brush.

4th shave of the week in the books with Mike's Naturals. I've been using a wetter brush than normal for the last two days and my lathers have been better. The scent on this Orange, Cedarwood, & Black Pepper is just amazing; I'd describe it as a "must try" for the citrus fans out there. Lingers pleasantly for about 20 minutes on me but no longer. I really need to try some of Mike's other scents...maybe a lime shave stick is in my future for the summertime.

I have the Lemongrass & Eucalyptus and it is a wunderfull one. To my nose, it is mainly Lemongrass with just a touch of eucalyptus to make it a bit more fresh! And the scent don't linger that lomg on this one too!

Jabonman Lavanda is done. I thought the performance was just ok. I would have liked it to have a better post shave feel. This was his earlier formula with no tallow. I have not tried his tallow formula to compare.

Undecided on what to use next.

I enjoyed my week of soap exclusivity last week and think I'll stick around. Up this week is a tube of Musgo Real Spiced Citrus. I'm a Musgo fan (I polished off a tube of the Orange Amber last year) but don't use it all that often these days. The spiced citrus is not my cup of tea scent-wise but the performance is excellent--great post shave and the most residual slickness of any soap or cream I've tried. It's so slick I actually have a hard time rinsing off after the shave. Should be a week of good shaves.

Yes! Stick around!

I know I'm reporting a day early but as I'm having my last shave of the week with Chiseled Face Sherlock (which isn't quite the performance I remember), I will be using a DR Harris Windsor stick. I generally don't love the stick as it's hard to load, but the Windsor scent is awesome and I look forward to it.

Well, like Kramer in the infamous episode of Seinfeld, I'M OUT. Four straight days of Musgo Real Spiced Citrus taught me that I can't stand the scent of Musgo Real Spiced Citrus. I shaved with GFT Coconut cream this morning instead and had a delightful shave.

Musgo is a great performer though. My uncle is a wet shaver so this tube will find a new home.

After a DNF last week I'm back at it this week with Asylum Frankincense & Myrrh, which, simply put, is beautiful stuff. Effortless thick creamy lather, pleasant light scent, and decent post-shave feel for me. I'll be using my Semogue 1305 all week...my favorite brush.

Happy shaving all.

I finished a week with DR Harris Windsor. Loved the scent and the water wasn't as hard on my trip as in Phoenix so it worked better.

This week is TOBS Shaving Shop - one of their best scents, sadly discontinued a few years ago.

Years later, I'm still dismayed that they discontinued their best scent.

It's April but I'm still using Shaving Shop and my shaves are getting better. Loading less can be more with this cream apparently (I use soap usually, and well... look at my signature).

I returned to RazoRock Napoleons Violet.  With this Italian soap I've noticed I usually pick a boar brush. It just seems fitting.

I stopped with the TOBS after a month, only for variety. Then I went on a road trip and found a small container of AOS Sandalwood cream in my kit so I'm using that until it's done, probably a week or two worth.

I'm done with RazoRock Napoleon's Violet. It started to burn my skin.

Today I picked up RazoRock Santa Maria del Fiore. I picked it up a few months ago and the menthol was too much for winter. It is warming up here in AZ, and the menthol is a nice touch. I love the scent of this soap.

I wrapped up the remnants of my AOS Sandalwood cream - still consistently awesome.
I grabbed my Palmolive Stick for the next week or two; it's also pretty creamy lather. I'm glad I have 7 or so sticks in a closet since it was apparently discontinued.

Are you planning on stocking up?

I considered it when the post first came up because I could shave with it almost full-time. But no, I think 7 sticks will suffice for me, considering the size of my 'inventory'. I mean, I have 7 B&M tubs and 3 AoS tallow pucks, plus 26 other soaps/creams.
