It's a sad, sad day for me as one of my favourite Blues artists of all time, B. B. King, passed away. He was 89.

I will always have his music around, and I'm glad that he recorded so much over the decades. His work will live on and give entertainment and solace to people for a long time to come.

He was one of, if not the best, blues men ever.  I was fortunate enough to see him live on five different occasions.  His music will live forever.

Of my vinyl records, next to Muddy Waters, BB King albums are one of the few I would miss

RIP, B.B.

He was on my "guitarists i must see" bucket list until 4 years ago. Saw him perform, w/ Buddy Guy opening. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

That is a good show. I've seen Buddy live as well, he's a madman. Different styles but both legends

Fifteen years ago we had our regional sales meeting in Chicago.  After dinner we went to Buddy Guys place and got to see Buddy and B.B. performing together.  Talk about a great show, this was one.

What a shame, but inevitable.  His music is immortal.

This is sad news. Some of my favourite childhood memories were of listing to his music with my Dad.

May they rest in peace.

Living in Memphis I was fortunate enough to get to meet BB on several occasions at his Blues club on Beale Street. He was so gracious and had a great wit. The music he gave the world will live on forever. He will be truly missed. Praying for his family and many friends.

Being from Mississippi I had the pleasure of growing up listening to his music. BB was a great humanitarian. My state has lost a true legend.

A true legend in his time.  So many players learned from and looked up to him.  He will be missed.

I had the good fortune to see him three times.  1st time he was touring with Albert King, AWESOME show.  2nd time he was with a rather unremarkable blues band from Memphis or St. Louis.  3rd time he was accompanied by a lovely chanteuse whose name escapes me but was very good.  He spent most of the 2nd and all of the third show playing from a chair, but I'm glad I got to see him in more dynamic form the one time.
