It's a sad, sad day for me as one of my favourite Blues artists of all time, B. B. King, passed away. He was 89.

I will always have his music around, and I'm glad that he recorded so much over the decades. His work will live on and give entertainment and solace to people for a long time to come.

I had the good fortune to see him three times. 1st time he was touring with Albert King, AWESOME show. 2nd time he was with a rather unremarkable blues band from Memphis or St. Louis. 3rd time he was accompanied by a lovely chanteuse whose name escapes me but was very good. He spent most of the 2nd and all of the third show playing from a chair, but I'm glad I got to see him in more dynamic form the one time.
