I have some brushes for sale today. Apart from one pair (the Plisson+Semogue) the others are pairs with one brush being thrown in as a freebie (to sweeten the purchase Smile ).

For sale in the US only and payment is to be using Paypal.

---------------

SOLD!!! 1) Plisson Synthetic (boxed with stand) + Omega Mighty Midget - $50 shipped USA

This is the wonderful Plisson Synthetic brush. It is in excellent shape and has no cosmetic or functional issues (no shedding, etc.). It is boxed, and is sold with the stand. The hair is soft, and has a mild backbone, and is among the best synthetic hair knots available.

I'm throwing in a used Omega Mighty Midget for free. This is a boar/badger mix knot that has nice backbone and is a wonderful small brush. The knot is 20 mm at the base wqith a loft of about 45 mm. This one sheds a hair occasionally.

2) Muhle Silvertip Fibres brush + Vie-Long Horsehair brush - $55 $50 shipped USA

This is another wonderful synthetic brush. This is a Muhle Silvertip Fibres brush (model 31 M-89 - $95 new from Bullgoose). Knot - 21 mm, loft - 50 mm. This is in like-new shape, and has only been used 5 times. Like all STF brushes, this has soft tips and excellent backbone. The handle is beautiful, and will match your Muhle razor well.

Thrown in for free is a used Vie-Long Horsehair brush. 21 mm knot, 61 mm loft. The knot is lovely and doesn't shed. The handle has lovely heft. The wood portion is starting to lose its finish a bit.

3) Ever-Ready Lucite handle reknotted with TGN Finest + Whipped Dog brush -- $55 $45 shipped USA

This is a large Ever-Ready brush with a lucite handle. It shows its age and use (has some crazing at the knot cup), but is a lovely handle in use. It has a great TGN Finest Badger knot - 24 mm knot with 55 mm loft. This is a large brush with nice backbone and density and is nice in use.

It is paired with a Whipped Dog brush with a black marbled handle. This is a lovely handle and is pretty and comfy. It's been used about 10 times. The Knot is a Whipped Dog High Mountain Badger knot. 24 mm with 53 mm loft. It sheds a bit. It's pretty new, so it could settle down, but if not, the handle alone is worth getting this brush for.

4) Vintage Plisson brush (badger) + Semogue 2000 - $50 $45 shipped US

This is an interesting vintage Plisson brush. It has a lovely resin handle with a deep reddish brown colour with horn-like streaks in it. The older Plisson label is present, but has faded a bit. The knot is an interesting one - if I didn't know better, I'd say it was a badger/boar mix. It is a sketched badger knot with excellent backbone and a little scrub. It is great in use, even though it is no longer very pretty. Knot is 20 mm with a 48 mm loft.

It is paired with a like-new Semogue 2000 boar brush. This is another brush that doesn't need any introduction - it has a lovely, large boar knot that's just starting to get broken-in. The handle is perfect and the knot doesn't shed.

Nope, I'd rather sell the brushes as listed. Part of the reason for this sale is to remove items from the den that are just taking up room. Anyway, if the Plisson Synth is the one you were asking about, it has been sold. Thanks for the inquiry.
