What's the smoothest blade out there? I usually use a Feather or KAI blade in a Feather AS-D2. However, I have a more aggressive razor, and the Feather blade is just too sharp for me. I like 'em mild. Is there a really smooth blade I can use? I've tried Gillette 7 o'clock (from India), and they're very smooth, but is there anything milder?

You should be starting to see a pattern here.
I agree with all these guys.
Astra SP is my blade of choice. They perform well in any razor I use & I get a week out of each blade no problem.
Three years ago I bought 1500 Astra SP's at $8 per 1000. I have enough to last my lifetime.
I still have a lot of blades left untried in my sample selection, but when I tried an Astra SP and got such a wonderful shave and could not even feel the blade, I knew I had found my blade so I stopped looking and stocked up!
The thing is you have to keep trying blades until you find the one for you, and believe me you'll know when you find it!

Definitely agree with everyone that you need to try blades to find out what works for you, since it depends on the razor you're using, as well as technique. For me, in a 40s style gillette superspeed, I think the order of the top few smoothest would be: NOS Gillette Platinum Plus (USA) > Current Production Gillette Platinum > Gillette 7 o'clock Super Platinum > Polsilver/Super Iridium > NOS Schick Plus Platinum > NOS Wilkinson Sword England > NOS Gillette Super Stainless
Those are all really close together for me though. The vintage blades tend to last a lot longer than the current production. I see a lot of folks mentioning Astra, which is really really not at all smooth for me, in the 40s style superspeed. I don't know if it's the razor, my prep, or what, but I've never found it very smooth compared to anything with the Gillette logo, or coming out of the Russian plant. They're cheap though.

This is completely true, which is why blades are so subjective.
I bought some Personna Blues and tried them in my ATT H2, absolutely hated them. Put one in my iKon DLC Slant this morning and it was one of the best shaves I've ever had.
