Where did you obtain the various razor stands? Are the stands sturdy? They look fantastic! As for me, I currently am rotating between two razors. I love the Merkur 38C Long Handle HD razor. I have also had Patrick Camara (t/a PC Woodcraft and Pens) make for me a custom razor with Malichite Tru-Stone handle fitted with an Edwin Jagger DE89 razor. This is a rather large and heavy razor most satisfactory to me because I have large hands.

The Merkur 38C is where it all started for me, it even inspired my Shave Nook username: Merkur Man. It was the first razor that I felt like I was able to master. The results were perfect, smooth, irritation free shaves, time after time. I have since been on an SE kick. I think I'll use my trusty 38C tomorrow with a fresh Feather blade.

My current favorite is also one of my ugliest: Fatip Grande in nickle. I picked it up on a whim for a song. It is the ugly mutt that followed me home but fits right in. The scruffy thing has swirl marks all over the place, the handle is somewhat light- overall it is nothing special to look at but I absolutely love this razor.
Maybe because it is so scrappy and delivers a consistently fantastic shave. All cattle and no hat!

Rudy Vey made the stands for me and the stands are very sturdy . No issues whatsoever . Each stand cost $30-35 depends on the material.-

Muhle r41 have 2 brass handles for it ,one is off a PAA phoenix, it resembles a UFO handle, other is similar in knurling to a bulldog ,but it's .50 in diameter and 3 inches long.IMO the r41 handle is garbage and the true potential or comfort of this razor can't be achieved with the stock handle (bull goose sells heads with aftermarket handles)
Merkur 39c-2nd favorite razor, less harsh than the r41 but gives great shaves all the same. Could easily be my one and only.
Merkur futur. Would love to get the handle customized for more grip and it would be almost perfect.Love the infinite adjustability.
Ask me the same question in a month and might get a different answer.
