I finished the razor late last night, a vintage Sheffield Sprock 6/8 in Welsh Yew with high impact white acrylic liners, white wedge and triple stacked washers, this is the second of a pair that i picked up a little while back, i'm more than pleased with the way they both turned out,

Great looking blade! The grain on the wood looks incredible and I really like the contrast with the white liners.

Great looking razor. Im working on a set of scales made of spalted maple. I have to stableize the wood with super glue and then epoxy. Great idea of the white liners. Nice Razor.

You can get some beautiful colours and grain patterns in spalted woods, there's a UK knife supplies online shop i occasionally buy a few bits and bobs off that sell some beautiful stabilized woods.

Jamie, wow, i just love looking at your finished work! The only downside is that i am always tempted to buy one of those razors from you. Smile

Thanks for the kind words Celestino, the both razors have been snapped up by a member over on the UK shave forum TSR.

Jamie,
I like your work. The razor has clean and uncluttered lines. Blade and scales fit perfectly, giving the razor a self-assured identity. Well done, my friend.
